A renovation to a small powder room nestled under a staircase. Because it does not receive natural light and the space is so small the intent was to make the room feel as spacious and open as possible. By making the lavatory a piece of furniture it achieves this objective by opening up the space underneath the sink. Also, the petite toilet helps in not subtracting too much square footage from the footprint of the room. The light color palette that was chosen and the mirrors on both sides of the room aid in helping the space feel open and light.
